I began my career transition on December 30th, 2016 as a single mom leaving a 12 year office position behind at Thermo Fisher Scientific in search of a flexible schedule that would allow me to be more present in the lives of my teenage children. Being a parent isn't easy, yet alone a single parent. I knew with my divorce and having no family support in the Rockford area, that my children would need me to be even more visible in their lives, and not coming home after 7pm from an 8 hour shift.

 

As I was scrambling for an answer, my life group leader at CityFirst Church connected me with another mom, who was going through a similar situation. She began to share her story on how she was a successful entrepreneur working hours that was best for her and her children, by cleaning people's homes and selling all-natural cleaning products.

 

After our encounter, my mind was fixated on how I could turn my love for cleaning into a profitable service to provide the best life style for my 2 kids, and this is where Les' Cleaning Services was born. I began finding houses around the Rockford area to clean and began growing my clients' list and employees' base to what it is today.
