Since the beginning of Les' Cleaning Services, owner Leslie Reyes recognized the importance of giving back to her community. Rockford, Illinois and its surrounding communities host an amazing group of people from all ethnicities and backgrounds--all of whom with that amazing "Midwest grit" that pushes us to always be working to be the best we can be.
One inspiring example of that "grit" is an organization that Les' Cleaning has long supported. Miss Carly and her family started by feeding extras from their own meals to members of the community. Before long, Miss Carly was providing more and more meals. Today this beloved, local organization provides 3 meals a day to hundreds of people in need, along with clothing and hygiene products. Miss Carly and her volunteers offer a safe, nonjudgemental hand to anyone in need--no questions asked. In fact, this organization also provides Narcan and Narcan training.
Les' Cleaning Services proudly supports Miss Carly's on an on-going basis by picking up and dropping off donations, holding raffles, donating cleaning solution, hundreds of rolls of toilet paper every few months and more! For more about Miss Carly's services visit: www.misscarlys.org.
Another favorite way to give back for Les is through City First Church. Each year, City First hosts a celebration called "Superhero Sunday" that celebrates the church's Champion's Club. This Club was created to minister to children and adults with special needs. These special City First Champions look forward to this event every year around August. Have you heard of the great work The Superhero Center for Autism is doing? This special non-profit provides support for families trying to navigate life with a loved one with autism. Les' Cleaning Services volunteers its time cleaning the center for free to insure that the environment is clean and healthy
